Dispatch Portal Rebuild & Migration

Rebuilt the dispatch portal that runs day-to-day operations for a large Canadian transport company. The system was migrated off ASP.NET onto PHP and Laravel, then upgraded end to end: dispatchers assign loads and drivers, log trips, track vehicles and pull operational reports from one portal instead of several disconnected screens. The heavy work was on the data layer, where reworking the queries, indexing and payloads turned retrieving large datasets from something a dispatcher waited on into something that returns while they are still looking at the screen.

Business CRM & Invoicing System

Built a custom CRM for a Derby-based vehicle security company that fits Thatcham-approved trackers, immobilisers and alarms across the UK, much of it as mobile installs at a customer's home or workplace. The system holds client and vehicle records, schedules jobs against installers, generates quotes and invoices, takes payment through Stripe, and reports on the business from one place. It replaced a stack of disconnected spreadsheets and tools with a single system built around how they actually book and complete a fitting.

Local Business Management Platform

Developed a SaaS platform that gives a local service business one place to run everything customer-facing. Calls, SMS and web chat land in a shared inbox, with AI call answering and routing on the phone side. Bookings come in through a public booking page and drop straight onto the calendar. Behind that sits a CRM with full customer history, project boards for jobs and tasks, estimates and invoices with Stripe payments, and automations for follow-ups, reminders and review requests. Reporting dashboards sit on top, and the platform connects out to tools the business already uses such as HubSpot, Housecall Pro and Gmail. (Formerly Zampi, rebranded to Local Business Pro.)

VIX & Volatility Analytics Backend

We designed and built the entire backend for a VIX and volatility analytics platform. That covers the signal calculation engine, the VIX term month handling that maps each futures contract to the correct expiry so the curve is built in the right order, the charts APIs that feed the front end, the supporting services and the cloud infrastructure it all runs on. The platform shows the VIX futures term structure sourced from CBOE, contango as a percentage, the VIX1D, VIX9D, VIX30D, VIX90D, 3M and 6M indices, historical volatility over 10, 20 and 30 days, a table view and a speed tracker with news. Quotes refresh every minute, so the ingest and calculation path has to stay correct and fast on every cycle rather than only on a cold load.

Cultural Events Web Platform

Designed and developed a bilingual German and English platform for cultural events. Visitors browse concerts, festivals, theatre, exhibitions, workshops and flea markets, filtered by category, location and date, then buy tickets through the site. There is a venue directory with capacity details, accounts that keep favourites and booking history, an organiser side for listing events and handling ticketing, and an editorial blog the client's own team publishes to without needing us.

Event & Venue Management Platform

Built a full event and venue management SaaS that covers the whole lifecycle of an event. Organisers can sell in several ways from the same listing: standard ticketing, an external link, box office sales on the door, a waitlist, free RSVPs or pay what you want. Seats are picked from an interactive floor plan built in the seat chart builder. Payments run through Stripe and PayPal, with coupons, and ticket or whole-order transfers verified by one-time code. On the day, staff scan QR codes at the door as an assigned scanner team. Around that sits a venue directory with an approval workflow between organisers and admins, recurring events and templates, revenue and attendance analytics per organiser and platform-wide, a help desk, moderated reviews, newsletters and a media library.

IVR Design for a Call Tracking Platform

CallPanther is call tracking software for marketing agencies and businesses. It gives each marketing channel its own trackable phone number, then records, forwards and reports on the calls, texts and voicemails those numbers bring in, with call whisper announcing the source to whoever picks up. We designed the IVR system: the menus a caller hears, the options they can choose, and the routing rules that decide which team or number each choice sends the call to. The work was making the call flow simple for the caller and still flexible enough for an agency running many clients and many numbers on one account.

Privacy-First Web Analytics

Designed and built our own analytics platform. Session replay, click heatmaps and funnel analysis sit in one dashboard, so you can see where visitors drop out of a funnel and then watch the recordings of the sessions that dropped. The tracking script is 3KB, sets no cookies and needs no consent banner, and passwords, payment details and email addresses are masked before anything leaves the browser. We run the whole product ourselves, including billing and documentation, and this site is measured with it. It is also the tool we reach for when a client's page is getting traffic and not getting enquiries.

Conversion-Focused Landing Page Redesign

Redesigned the landing page for a Greater Manchester vehicle-security company selling insurance-approved Thatcham S5 and S7 trackers and Ghost immobilisers with free mobile fitting. Paid and organic traffic was arriving and leaving. We used our own Leadfnf tool to watch real sessions and found the drop-off sat on the enquiry form, made worse by a slow page on mobile. We rebuilt the page in Laravel around a shorter form, cut the load time, and put the product and price detail where buyers were looking for it. A/B testing put conversion at 4% before and 12% after, which brought the cost per lead down with it.

AI Interview Platform & Full Redesign

Built and integrated an AI-powered finance interview simulator. Candidates practise against a curated bank of questions drawn from real finance interviews, covering accounting, valuation, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, capital markets, industry-specific questions, brain teasers, behavioural questions and the resume walkthrough. The AI coach answers with a worked explanation, then reviews the candidate's own answer and points at the mistakes and weak areas so practice can be targeted rather than random. We also delivered a full redesign of the platform, rebuilding the UI and the flow through a practice session from the ground up.

AI Chatbot Builder Platform

Designed, built and maintain QBotly, our own AI chatbot builder for website customer service. A business creates a bot, trains it on its own content, and embeds it on the site to answer the questions that would otherwise arrive by email, without writing any code. It is built entirely in-house by the Lipsum Technologies team, from concept through to production, hosting and the releases that keep going out. It is also the clearest thing we can point at when a client asks whether we understand AI products rather than just talk about them.

Used-Car Dealership Website

Built a fast, modern site for a Derby used-car dealership. Stock comes through from AutoTrader and stays current on its own, each vehicle carrying full spec, mileage and price so a buyer can judge it without leaving the site. From a listing a buyer can start a finance enquiry, submit a part exchange, ask about an extended warranty or arrange home delivery, so every route into a conversation sits next to the car that prompted it. The build is on Astro for load speed, and the page structure is aimed squarely at local search traffic for the makes and models on the forecourt.
